World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is an organization dedicated to supporting animals and nature worldwide. World Wildlife Fund works to preserve nature and works in around 100 countries. WWF also works to assist endangered species, like pandas, so they don’t go extinct. Additionally, WWF works to preserve the natural habitats for wildlife that have been damaged by human activity or natural disasters.

Black Lives Matter (BLM) is a big part of the world because there have been many incidents of people dying because of the color of their skin. People don’t understand that this is a very scary time for the Black people because others are being racist to them, and it’s not like they can change the color of their skin. It’s very unfair since they are being judged and mistreated by the way they were born. It is important that we do everything in our power to help BLM out.

Feeding America is an organization dedicated to giving food to Americans who don’t have enough. They work with many others to gather food before it goes to waste. Approximately 25-40% of food goes to waste each year, but if the food was consumed, there would be enough to feed many more Americans. Feeding America also works to raise awareness for those who are hungry, as well as end hunger in America.

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is an organization that is dedicated to fight for LGBTQ+ rights. The organization has spent over 40 years creating a powerful movement for equality in the United States. Their goal is to ensure that all LGBTQ+ people are treated as full and equal citizens across the world.

Lucile Packard Stanford Children’s Hospital (LPCH) is a nationally ranked women's and children's hospital which is a part of  the Stanford University Health system. The hospital specializes in the care of infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21, but sometimes treats older adults and expecting mothers.

California Fire Foundation is an organization that can provide emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters, and the communities they protect. California Fire Foundation aids victims of fires and other natural disasters. Especially since this issue is close to our community, it’s very important we help with what we can.

We chose these organizations because a lot of people support them, along with what is going on in the world right now. Many people are aware of the horrible things that are happening to people around the world, and want to spread awareness. Some of the main concerns that people of our age have these days are reposted all over instagram and other social media platforms. They post about issues such as awareness on BLM and LGBTQ+. People may not know about a few of the organizations we chose, but we felt that they are some of the most important, like the millions of children that are severely injured or sick, and are not able to get the medical attention they need, or the people all over the world that can’t even afford to buy things we need in our everyday lives, such as food and water. There are many websites where you can donate for each cause, even a small amount makes a big difference.
