First of all, we'd like to welcome you and thank you for stopping by. Our team is looking to become a positive student-driven voice in our greater community, and we can’t wait for you to join us. Throughout the semester our podcast will address many topics in our weekly episodes, including depression, body image, our COVID-19 experience, the California wildfires, the value of education, women empowerment, social media’s effect on youth, along with any current topics that may arise. As you may have noticed, many of our chosen topics are rather heavy - if you will - so our goal is to provide an empathetic, story-based platform, by which we can explore previously hidden, or masked, topics. We’d like to serve our community, and despite our best efforts, there will be topics that JLS is passionate about that we do not cover, so please reach out to us to share your ideas. We believe it is important for students to have a space like this run by their peers, and so we’d also like to invite you to participate in the podcast by submitting your stories anonymously or coming on-air with our team.
